Betty J. Mulder, artist and astrologer, was born in the Netherlands in 1966, but is also closely connected to her adopted-home Oberammergau in Germany.

As a freelance artist, she opened her studio in 1986 in Velp. Her artistic works could already be viewed in numerous exhibitions and galleries in Holland, including Maastricht, Amsterdam and Arnhem, as well as in Germany, including Oberammergau, Berlin and Trier.

“Art is a perspective that comes from the soul”

For Betty J. Mulder´s artistic work, borth the earthly and the spiritual world serve as a source of inspiration. With her very own view she finds her expression for the connection from person to universe. Color and shape become the expression of a point of view, to a representation of an inner experience such as gratitude, love and trust, peace and happiness. Paintings and sculptures thus act as vehicle of communication. In her art she creates spaces of potential for the viewer an gives impulses to let oneself be carried away.

The more recent works are increasingly breaking away from solid forms. The bounderies become more fluid and are transformed into intense streams of color and form as possible companions on the journey to one´s own center. The artist has many further  ideas that are waiting to be implemented.
