About the work

Just imagine a child whose favorite "Lego" figure ended up under a layer of sweet&sour dip. The toy will become sticky, it will smell, and the legs and handles will stop moving altogether. For a child, this is a tragedy, and no one but them will understand the scale of it.

These childish problems seem simple but there is so much more to them. That is why I have decided to use them to depict complex adult collision.

After 6 months of full-scale invasion, McDonald's have returned to the Ukrainian market, which set an example for other brands. As a result, the usual consumer life returned to Ukraine. But there's more to the story. Together with Lego, they were one of the first large corporations which left the Russian market, for what we are very grateful.

It may seem like a small thing to someone, while to others it can be of vital importance.

I have chosen the materials for children, such as coloured pencils, to depict "children's" problems. The work is covered with fixative, has a high-quality frame, passepartout. Also, there is a thread for attaching it to the wall behind the picture and the front of the picture is protected by plexiglass.

The part of money will be donated for the needs of Ukraine.
