Giclée prints zijn hoogwaardige reproducties van kunstwerken. De giclée kunstdruk is een hedendaagse digitale printtechniek dat voldoet aan de hoogste eisen die door kunstenaars, musea en kunstverzamelaars aan grafieken worden gesteld. De giclée kunstdruk heeft net als de Fine Art Print en fotoprint een gelijkwaardige plaats veroverd in de kunstwereld tussen de meer bekende traditionele grafiektechnieken als de ets, zeefdruk en steenlitho.

De zeefdruk is een oude druktechniek gebruikt tijdens de Song-dynastie in China van 960-1279 AD. Het is een drukproces gebaseerd op een sjabloon. Het wordt gemaakt met een sjabloon op een gaas en hoewel de zeven oorspronkelijk van zijde gemaakt waren, zijn ze nu gemaakt van fijn geweven polyester of nylon. Hoe werkt het? De inkt moet zich een weg banen door de delen die het sjabloon niet blokkeert. Elke kleur wordt toegepast met een nieuw sjabloon of zeef. Een definitieve zeefdruk wordt gemaakt met prachtige kleuren en texturen, met verbazingwekkende afbeeldingen achter elkaar gemaakt.

Screen printing is an ancient printing technique used during the Song dynasty in China from 960-1279 AD. It is a printing process based on a stencil. It is made with a stencil on a mesh and although the screens were originally made of silk, they are now made of finely woven polyester or nylon. How does it work? The ink has to work its way through the areas that the stencil does not block. Each colour is applied with a new stencil or screen. A final screen print is made with beautiful colours and textures, with amazing images created one after the other.
