Coming in the Air – Fish Market
About the work
The fish market, located the north of Rialto Bridge, is vacant with fish stalls and customers on Monday. The Corinthian columns supporting the pointed arches, commonplace in Venice architecture, form the predominant feature against the backdrop of the Grand Canal. Under the spell of this roof, it feels as if the air of mercantile were achingly close to one’s senses.
This picture was taken at the Campo de la Pescaria, Venice, Italy.
