Golden Award for Zeeland-Flemish Photographer Frank Peters at Tokyo Foto Awards
Fine art, travel, and press photographer Frank Peters has clinched the gold medal at the Tokyo International Foto Awards with his photo 'Poles and Birds.' This image secured the top spot in the Fine Art Special Effects (long exposure) category and was captured in Zeeland with an extended exposure of several minutes. Peters also received an honorable mention for his series 'Winds,' a photo series depicting landscapes in Lorraine, France. The Tokyo International Foto Awards are renowned for being a prestigious photography competition with high-quality submissions.
Over the past years, Peters has garnered several awards, including the International Photography Awards New York, Fine Art Photography Awards, ND Awards, gold medals in Prix de la Photographie Paris and Pano Awards, along with various silver, bronze medals, and honorable mentions in other international photography contests.
In addition to his fine art photography, Peters works as a press photographer for the PZC newspaper and creates travel reports for publications such as Bergen Magazine and Wandelmagazine. He is also involved as a cameraman, reporter, and editor in TV productions like 'De Kunst van het Leven,' a series by Studio VC (Victor DeConinck) featuring Zeelandic artists, broadcasted by Omroep Zeeland.
