Born in a small village in Turkiye, raised in a small village in The Netherlands, where she still lives, Besh Noemara as she is known by her artist name, encountered art first in the form of poetry written by her father and one of her five sisters. 

Exploring her own abilities as a child, she started writing too and kept writing ever since. Many years later after a home make over, she thought of visualizing the poem she had written about her two children by making a painting about it to put on the bare wall. 

Experimenting with painting she discovered how liberating the process and finished artwork can be, being able to make anything she could fantasize. Although she had been drawing most of her young life, painting with acrylic paint and brush brought her much more joy. 

Today at the age of 50 she still writes poetry in Turkish, Dutch and English and enjoys painting whatever she fantasizes. 

The painting of the children’s poem has yet to be done for she wants it to be extra special.

 For now her other paintings decorate the ones bare walls of her house, enjoying them with her husband and children.
