Born and raised in Iran, a country rich in art and culture,

Artemis Froozan is a self-taught artist currently residing in Washington, D.C., USA.

She creates paintings, sculptures, and photography, mainly in a realistic style.

Her art focuses on the human figure, particularly female figures, often inspired by her advocacy for women's rights and her background in healthcare. She views human body as both a scientific marvel and artistic inspiration.

She explores genres beyond figure drawing, including landscape, still life, and floral works. She uses various mediums including charcoal, acrylic, and pencil. 

She believes art is a form of personal expression, a way to communicate with the world, and a tool for social change.
