Queen Arbo, driftwood sculpture, painted female figure

This sculpture/ figurative decoration is half-made by nature, half by a human ;) I found this beautiful piece of old wooden board on a Baltic Sea beach, cleaned it, rouglly scultped the shape of the head, and painted with acrylics, then added pieces of old, vintage jewellery and brass-coloured metal chain. The base is also made from diftwood. To connect the board to the base I used metal connectors which I oxidised to make them look aged and match the aged/industrial look of the driftwood base. The size of the base is 21/18 cm. 

There are holes from nails and cracks in the board which give this piece of wood its own, individual story.

The acrylic paint is covered with varnish.
