About Zulma E. Brooks

Born and raised in New York City, currently living in North Carolina, Self taught artist since the age of 25. Was unable to afford formal Art School. I've been painting on and off for 27 years, abstracts with inspirations from Black American culture and West African influences. Mainly Abstracts. I have yet to have my work collected and shown in any gallery. Of Black American and Puerto Rican Heritage.
