I am Yıldırım Bayazıt Yaylak. I live in Turkey. I retired from the Turkish Air Force as a non-commissioned officer in 2015. I met Calligraphy Art in 2003 thanks to my interest and talent in the art of painting since a young age. It did not take me long to get used to this art based on line. With patience, desire and perseverance, my close interest in pen and paper increased day by day. As I practiced and mastered the letters, I realized that it is an incredibly enjoyable art. To improve myself, I was inspired by the works of masters who devoted themselves to this art. I always followed them. As time passed, I developed my own writing style. Thanks to my predisposition to painting and my love for calligraphy, I can use painting and calligraphy together.

    Based on the knowledge, experience and experience I have gained since 2003, I published my calligraphy book titled 'Letter Games' in 2009. My book also explains the education of calligraphic writing in my own style. My aim is to introduce the art of calligraphy to new generations and to help people who are interested and want to start. I try to use this art, which has become my lifestyle, in every field today.

    I have been professionally engaged in calligraphy for 20 years. I have been invited as a calligraphy artist to tourism fairs, festivals, receptions and workshops organised by the Turkish Ministry of Culture and Tourism in India, Germany, France, Bulgaria, Kazakhstan, Russia, Sweden, Azerbaijan, Hungary and China.

    In order to improve my art, I attended a 200-hour Calligraphy training at Northern Cyprus Rauf Denktas University in 2022. I currently have a calligraphy diploma.

   I still help people who contact me about my art from home and abroad. I participate in International Tourism Fairs, Festivals, Receptions, Brands Events and other organizations organized by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism as a calligraphy artist. I also give calligraphy lessons and workshops in private and art workshops.
