About Wytze Visser
Wytze Visser (1956) was born and raised in his current hometown of Leeuwarden. From a young age, he was both interested in and engaged with image and language. After high school, he took Drawing and English courses at the teacher training college. He then spent 6 years teaching part-time, allowing him to dedicate the rest of his time to his artistic work. He exhibited, among others, at the Van Hulsen gallery, and his work was purchased by the state. In 1987, Wytze chose creativity in the advertising and marketing world. He developed into a strategic/creative concept thinker. In 2015, he resumed his artistic work and developed a very personal style over the years in which he plays with image and language. The basic material is cardboard, on which he works with, among others, pastel chalk, oil paint, spray paint, and stencils. Wytze exhibited, among others, at the Kunstmaand Ameland and in Shanghai (M50) China, where he stayed for a while as an artist. Wytze recently published in, among others, Art Guide, The World Of Interiors, De Moanne.
