Vladimir Solovyev was born in Leningrad in 1987 in the family of art historians and painters.
In 2005, he met the Moscow artist Pyotr Efremov, understood what he wanted to do, and despite the skepticism of parents and friends, he took a brush in his hands. To this day, Efremov is the main teacher and mentor of V. Solovyev.
From 2006 to 2009 Vladimir was a member of the legendary group "Mitki", participated in numerous exhibitions throughout the country.
Left the group in 2009 for some political reasons.
The artworks of Vladimir Solovyev are in private collections in Russia, Sweden, Switzerland, Belgium and France.
Also, Gerard Depardieu has his portrait by his brush. 
Now he is living and painting in Brussels, Belgium.
