About the work
In the the state of Assam, where the famous Assam Tea comes from is also home to the mysterious Kamakhya Temple, where tantric rituals are held from time to time. I took inspiration from there and did my own version of a ritual called the red Moon Ritual, hence the inspiration for this artwork.
