Susan Broman was born in Rotterdam. Drawing and painting were in her from a young age. Her training as an artist comes about through various detours. The foundation of her education was laid at the SKVR in Rotterdam, at the end of this process she receives an encouragement award as an artist and there is no turning back. With the painting technique she now uses, she follows in the footsteps of the old masters. The painting of an underpainting with glazed color layers and everything in oil paint. Layer by layer, the paintings come to life and reflect a realistic image of small but also big things in life. She enjoys participating in various exhibitions and her works are for sale and rent in different places.
