Hello, my name is Sonja Rosing.

In 1991 I graduated from the art academy 'Minerva' in Groningen, the Netherlands.

Since I graduated from the art academy, I have been working full-time with visual work.

I paint, draw, photograph, make objects for indoors and outdoors and make videos.

I am a member of:

Arti et Amicitiae (artists' association Amsterdam),

KVF (Artists Association Flevoland.

In 1988 I started meditating. Since then I meditate twice a day. I started to delve into consciousness and Eastern philosophy. Consciousness became the main theme in my visual work.

I spend a lot of time in nature, I draw there, I take pictures, collect materials and go for walks.

In 2016, I had the project "366 sunrises". I was outside for sunrise for 366 days.
