Sofiya Akimova was born on November 29, 1988. In 2011 she graduated from Moscow State Stroganov Academy of Industrial
and Applied Arts on the art critic specialty studying painting and drawing as well. From 2011 to 2015, Sofiya created projects for
residential and public interiors; in 2013 worked as a teacher of art history at the International Academy of Business and
Management. Since 2015, painting has become the main activity. The works of the artist show images of modern women in
exploring the corporeal self and the emotional message of its characters through their nudity.
