Short Biography:

Rob Jacobs (1964) is a visual artist, lives and works in Weert.

In his career as an entrepreneur, he has always had a passion for art. He has further developed himself by studying at the art academy in Neerpelt (BE). After a tumultuous time, he made the choice to share his art with the general public. In the meantime, he has an extensive collection of works of various sizes in color and black/white.

The Works:

Power, energy, and emotions form the guiding principle in his work. The human being is my source of inspiration: the diversity of facial expressions and different characters. He sails fully on intuition and usually starts without a preconceived plan. As a result, he wants to touch the art lover deeply and bring them into ecstasy. The human combined with raw emotion and mixed painting techniques give his work an sometimes unpredictable power and energy. The work can be called timeless, which he hopes will lead the art lover to establish a long relationship with his works.

Here, there are already various pieces in the possession of private collectors/collections in the country and abroad. As a description, abstract and confronting in black and white and color may be the best.
