About the work

This monkey can get himself free by just letting go the ‘jewelry’. He is a prisoner of himself. Just like the monkey that grabs into a coconut that is attached to a tree with a rope. By making a fist in the coconut (he won't let go of the food inside) he stays a prisoner of himself.
