Pink bedroom

Kamer van de Barones van Kasteel de Haar. Haar slaapkamer is dan ook een openbaring van licht en ruimte, aangevuld met heel veel roze. De kamer is echt ontworpen en ingericht naar de smaken van de Rothschilds. Het verzonken bad en de frivole kleuren creëren de sfeer van een luxe hotelkamer. De badkamer ligt deels in de Riddertoren, waar een smalle trap leidt naar de kamer van de meid en de linnenkamers. Handig: zo kon haar ‘femme de chambre’ zo naar barones Hélène lopen om haar te helpen bij het baden en kleden.

Chamber of the Baroness of Kasteel de Haar. Her bedroom is therefore a revelation of light and space, supplemented with lots of pink. The room is really designed and decorated to the tastes of the Rothschilds. The sunken bath and the frivolous colors create the atmosphere of a luxurious hotel room. The bathroom is partly located in the Riddertoren, where a narrow staircase leads to the maid's room and the linen rooms. Handy: this way her 'femme de chambre' could walk straight to Baroness Hélène to help her bathe and dress.
