An event that is held every year in September, it is called "Back to then". Steam enthusiasts can indulge themselves. On the first full weekend of September (2021), the VSM traditionally organizes the largest steam train festival in the Netherlands under the name: “Back to Then”. A large number of restored steam locomotives are active on both days. With a length of almost 23 meters and a service weight of 130 tons and more, these machines are among the largest that have been used in Europe.
