Expressive heads

This is a painted head study, featuring different layers of me or you, rendered with an expressive and abstract style. Using bold lime and shapes to capture the essence of a head, the dynamic energy and inner emotion while staying curious and childlike. Influenced by Karel Appel for sure. Growing up in Holland and going to The Stedelijk Museum in Amsterdam as a child already made me connect to his work.
