First Rays of Spring
About the work
Oil painting shows a peaceful sunset in early spring. The snow has melted, but new grass hasn’t started growing yet, so we see patches of old, brown grass around. The trees are bare, their thin branches reaching up to a soft pastel sky.
The sun is low on the horizon, spreading warm golden and orange light through the trees and across the calm water, where its reflection glows brightly. The realistic details make the scene feel alive, capturing the quiet moment when winter fades, and spring is just beginning.
Painted on a wide canvas, this artwork invites you to step into the calm and hopeful mood of early spring, where nature slowly wakes up to the light.
50x50x3.5 cm, on stretched canvas.
