Head Hunter
About the work
Head Hunter
There are many great masters that we know in this work. Each portrait is made in the artist's own style and carefully put together. In the middle, the artist drew a self-portrait. His limbs, consisting of 10 arms and two legs, almost resemble a spider. In the background, a gloomy desert sky stretches towards the heavens, staring at a petrified and suffering goddess. A Van Gogh breeze blows in the air. In the work, the artist is a collector and collects his favorite works and the heads of artists. The artist himself has only one eye, showing that he sees everything and is aware of everything that needs to be told here, in the middle of the painting. The artists used in his work; Leonardo Da Vinci, Frida Kahlo, Van Gogh, Picasso, Salvador Dali, and the moody expressionist Ernst Ludwig Kirchner. The reason Kirchner's head lies on the ground is the desire to break the symmetry and shock of this bloodbath. The artist himself is depicted with a confused face for what he has done. With his hands, he makes a meditation gesture, symbolizing that he accompanied the artists to go in peace to the next world.
