About the work

Eugene Delacroix's beautiful watercolour on a small paper, became updated to a metamorphosis in this big oil painting on canvas with title:
Horse frightened by itself!

I was just wondering, how he would have painted it if he lived in the 21st century.
The original work was donated in 1934 to the Museum of Fine Arts, Budapest, Hungary.
