About Miguel Angel Lozano Bonora
Miguel Angel Lozano Bonora, born in 1977 in Avellaneda, Santa Fé, Argentina, is a versatile artist specializing in painting, drawing, graphic design, and photography. He began his journey in the family photography studio in 1990, where he learned analog photography and the chemical processes involved in developing color and black-and-white photos. In 1997, with the support of his close friend, Argentine artist Omar Darío Nasich, Miguel began showcasing his work in painting, drawing, and photography through both solo and group exhibitions.
He earned a degree in Graphic Design from Blas Pascal University in 2001. In 2006, he was a finalist in the Type-Q Typographic Contest in Castilla La Mancha, Spain, commemorating the fourth centenary of the first printed edition of "Don Quixote." Miguel has participated in numerous biennials and international art and photography festivals, where he has received various awards and recognitions. His artistic and photographic projects have taken him to the USA, Afghanistan, Chad, Gabon, South Africa, Russia, Turkey, Italy, Scotland, Switzerland, and Argentina.
Since 2001, Miguel has been developing his Op-art project, and since 2012, he has been collaborating with The Photographic Angle foundation in England as part of its permanent exhibition program. Recently, he won the Second Prize in the painting category at the 2023 Air and Space Army Awards. Miguel's extensive career includes over 200 exhibitions, both solo and group, in 28 countries. His works are held in private and public collections across Germany, Argentina, Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Qatar, Chile, Croatia, Spain, the United States, Finland, France, Greece, Hong Kong, England, Ireland, Iceland, Italy, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Peru, Poland, Portugal, Singapore, Sweden, Switzerland, and Taiwan.
