I am inspired by everyday subjects such as nature, animals, and people. I prefer to paint with a bit of humor, with a wink. In my work, you can see that I like to experiment with plenty of color use, contrast, and I like to use bold lines. Artists I admire include Van Gogh, Kees van Dongen, Monet, Matisse, Cezanne, and Degas.
