About the work
"Epoch's Embrace: Requiem for the Day" presents enigmatic silhouettes reminiscent of the Great Depression, poised at the threshold of an unknown era. Bathed in sky-blue and brown tones, these figures navigate a canvas textured with the melancholy of the past. The scene unfolds with mystery against a backdrop of clear blue poured acrylic paint.
Within the contemplative atmosphere, there's a subtle nod to futuristic possibilities—silverish, long air balloons and enigmatic crafts hint at the convergence of eras. The 3:2 aspect ratio frames this moment of transition, where echoes of the past meet the uncertain embrace of the future, inviting viewers to ponder the interplay between history and the yet-to-be-revealed.
The original painting is now for sale. It comes with a vintage white floating frame for canvas. This can be changed on request. Feel free to reach out with any inquiries. More pictures are available on request.
