The frame overwhelms the subject with its visual importance. Decorated geometrically with a rhythmic play of triangular shapes, it extends outside (off-screen) but also inside, hiding part of its framed subject. The latter, made of a network of parallel lines, supports its immediate environment, like a secondary participant in the work. While researching and creating this work, I had the Bauhaus school and style in mind.
