Her Arrival

The day of Queen Elizabeth's State Funeral, the long, long parade led by the casket, was amazing. It seemed to go on and on forever. I kept watching on television, and was captured by the bright flag colors over the rolling casket. I wanted to paint something representing this unique day and event. Here is the casket, rolling along into some other area, as it kept entering new lanes and places. Thousands lined the streets, one of her ponies stood beside the lane paying homage, as well as some corgis! What an historical event!!!!
