Coast

A while ago, I was in Terschelling to experience the ‘dark sky weekend’. I stayed at the Strandhotel, which is almost literally on the beach, just in the dunes. During sunrise, I was already on the beach, and this provided beautiful pictures and a lot of inspiration. I had to paint that! I immediately felt like starting. So once home in the studio, I immediately made this painting. The beautiful morning light is clearly visible in the cloud formation.

This painting is painted on Belgian linen and stretched on an aluminum frame so that it will never warp. On the back, the title of the painting is written in pencil, along with the dimensions and my signature. The painting is equipped with a solid steel hanging wire.
