About Jehan Saleh
Jehan Saleh is a Bahrain-based Egyptian artist, art educator, curator, and the founder of Bahrain Women
Printmakers. Saleh started her career as an art teacher before joining Albareh Art Gallery as Gallery
Coordinator and Business Development Manager.
Over the years, Saleh has continued to be involved in art training conducting workshops in portraiture,
mixed media, charcoal and pencil drawing, photo collage and printmaking, the latter of which led to the
creation of Bahrain Women Print Makers.
Saleh has also curated a number of solo and group exhibitions, the most notable of which were Lines of
Light ( 2019), Out of Time (2017), Insight (2016), and Stamp 1 (2013.
Saleh holds a Bachelor of Art Education from the faculty of Specific Education in Port Said ,Egypt. Her
work has been exhibited in Australia, Bahrain, Egypt, Greece, Kuwait,Geneva, Morocco, Spain,
Switzerland, the UAE and the UK, and is the recipient of a number of prizes and awards.
Saleh is the founder and owner of Jehan Saleh Printmaking studio and Art Concept in Bahrain.
