Green  Pebbled Gecko

At the moment I am trying out a new technique to paint and Geckos are a subject I am trying it out on. My intentions are for bigger pieces and primarily some pop art will end up with this new way of painting.

Here’s another gecko which I did from a template I made and came up with this brownish pattern and background to go with it. As mentioned with my previous gecko I had painted, I have found these delicate creatures a fascinating subject because of their nature and colours. I hope you like them too.

This painting is done on a Hahnemuhle ‘Cornwall’ 450g/m quality paper with mixed media like acrylic paint, gesso, and wax pencil, which are fixed sprayed afterwards. This particular painting would have to be framed and it would be best to have it behind a protective glass as well.
