In my work, I want to show the beauty of apparent simplicity and make the invisible visible.

A portrait, landscape, or still life invites me to tell their story.

Reality, personal experiences, and fantasy merge to create an image that resonates and invites self-reflection.

In my paintings Ode to Nature (organic forms), I explore the layering of nature. The growth process of flowers and plants, or the mystical of a seemingly beautiful natural area that begs to be painted. Looking over the landscape, I experience the underlying emotions that come in hard or subtle.

Making the invisible visible, the guiding theme. In my work, I translate the emotion with my own touch in paint and build the painting up from multiple layers. This evokes wonder through the apparent simplicity.
