Minimalistic approach to the Venice skyline, Italy. By reducing compositions to the essence I can eliminate crowds, noise and everyday life. I search for a serenity in my images. Photos will become day dreams, timeless experiences, travels to a reality that never existed, until you'll get drawn by it. This is the skyline of Venice with Basilica di Santa Maria della Salute seen from the island of San Giorgio Maggiore. In the foreground the square of the Benedictine church of San Giorgio. This image is available in a limited edition of five. The photo will be numbered and is provided with my signature and date on the backside. Together with the photo I send a certificate of authenticity. The photo will be printed on museum quality fine art paper and delivered in a tube. - - Minimalistische benadering van de skyline van Venetië, Italië. Door composities terug te brengen tot de essentie, kan ik drukte, ruis en het dagelijks leven elimineren. Ik zoek naar rust in mijn beelden. Foto's worden dagdromen, tijdloze ervaringen, reizen naar een realiteit die nooit heeft bestaan, totdat je erdoor wordt aangetrokken. Dit is de skyline van Venetië met Basilica di Santa Maria della Salute gezien vanaf het eiland San Giorgio Maggiore. Op de voorgrond het plein van de Benedictijnse kerk van San Giorgio. Deze afbeelding is beschikbaar in een gelimiteerde oplage van vijf. De foto wordt genummerd en is voorzien van mijn handtekening en datum op de achterzijde. Bij het beeld wordt een echtheidscertificaat geleverd. De foto wordt gedrukt op museum kwaliteit fine art papier en bezorgd in een koker.

About the artist

Frank Peters (1976) is an award-winning fine art, travel and landscape photographer from the Netherlands. His fine art prints show impressions of the best moments of his travels. He sees them as unique works of art and therefore sells them only once or in extremely limited editions (max 5 prints). The photos are made with great dedication and his own vision. “For me, fine art photography is the creation of tranquil, non-existent moving moments. Images that tell more about the photographer than just the beauty of the photos reveals,” Peters says. He reduces his images to the very essence by using minimalist compositions and long exposures. His work is represented by various art galleries and has been awarded in leading photography competitions such as the International Photography Awards (IPA), Fine Art Photography Awards, Minimalist Photography Awards.
