About the work

Winner International Photography Awards 2019 (IPA, New York) category Fine Art Minimalism and awarded in World's top 10 B&W photo contest, International Fine Art Photography Awards, Minimalist Photography Awards and Tokyo International Foto Awards.

I create my photos with great dedication and I see these images as unique works of art. That's why I sell them only once or in extremely limited editions (a maximum of five copies). This is a unique work and has become a one of a kind piece of art in a collection.

I've made the photo in January 2019 in Zeeuws-Vlaanderen, Netherlands. The circumstances were rare. A snowy landscape in this region is exceptional and in combination with fog very special. Through this image you can perceive my new way of photography. I have been living in this sparsely populated part of the Netherlands for two years and I try to capture the vastness of the landscape in my latest work. My photography is developing in the direction of Minimalism which resulted in winning the International Photography Awards (IPA, New York).
