About the work

These breakwaters lie under the water surface like armies waiting for their chance, but they have been betrayed by the tide. I took this image at Wissant, France. I sell this image in a limited edition of five. The photo will be numbered and is provided with my signature and date on the backside. Together with the photo I send a certificate of authenticity. The photo will be printed on museum quality fine art paper and delivered in a tube. - - Deze golfbrekers liggen als legers onder het wateroppervlak te wachten op hun kans, maar ze worden verraden door het getij. Ik heb deze foto gemaakt op het strand van Wissant, Frankrijk. Ik verkoop deze afbeelding in een gelimiteerde oplage van vijf. De foto wordt genummerd en is voorzien van mijn handtekening en datum op de achterzijde. Bij het beeld wordt een echtheidscertificaat geleverd. De foto wordt gedrukt op museum kwaliteit fine art papier en bezorgd in een koker.

About the artist

Frank Peters (1976) is an award-winning fine art, travel and landscape photographer from the Netherlands. His fine art prints show impressions of the best moments of his travels. He sees them as unique works of art and therefore sells them only once or in extremely limited editions (max 5 prints). The photos are made with great dedication and his own vision. “For me, fine art photography is the creation of tranquil, non-existent moving moments. Images that tell more about the photographer than just the beauty of the photos reveals,” Peters says. He reduces his images to the very essence by using minimalist compositions and long exposures. His work is represented by various art galleries and has been awarded in leading photography competitions such as the International Photography Awards (IPA), Fine Art Photography Awards, Minimalist Photography Awards.
