About Ferdi wouters, Atelier Fersier
In 1947, I was born in Amsterdam as the son of the goldsmith AB WOUTERS and his wife AAFJE VANDER VEEN. After the necessary preparatory education, I initially worked for almost 20 years in primary and secondary education - eventually, I made the transition to artistry and took over my father's legacy in 1990, obtaining my master's mark in gold and silver smithing in 1995. Since then, I have been working as such in Dordrecht, and my work has found its way to companies and individuals both domestically and abroad.
My sculptures can be found in the collection of Astra Zeneca and Bristol-Meyers and Squib. A facade relief can also be found in Dordrecht. Many exhibitions followed over time, including: Sculpture Garden De Hooge Heesch in Eersel, Sculpture Garden Wognum, Garden at the Amstel, and the biennial event Zomersymfonie in Dordrecht in Merwestein Park, which originated from the event Hofmakerij in Het Hof, also in Dordrecht, of which I was one of the founders.
