Passage into Time Splendid

The antiquarian Palazzo da Schio, located on 147 Corso Andrea Palladio in Vicenza, Italy, is characterized by the archaeological collection from the local scholar Giovanni da Schio (1799-1868).  Some of them are displayed along the passageway to the courtyard.  Known locally as the Ca’ d’Oro, regular arts performances are held in this open space.  Despite being a private residence, this magnificent building also houses a bookshop and rental apartment for visitors.  While open to public, I still feel grateful to stumble upon the palace courtyard and be immersed in the rich cultural tradition of the city.
