Impressions of the Grundtvig’s Church

Partially inaugurated in 1927 and consecrated thirteen years later, the eclectically styled building has a monumental presence and enduring simplicity blended into one.  Raining with scattered outpours and seemingly closed at the time of visit, a clergyman opened the door for the photographer’s visit.  His remark, still resonates in the mind, was: “The church is always open’.”
