I, Evelien Noeverman – Tanghe, paint under the name E.N.T.- Art.
As a self-taught visual artist, I enjoy painting original and colorful abstract paintings. In my own way, I translate feelings and thoughts into colorful creations.

I have chosen to paint mainly without titles, as titles of artworks influence the audience's expectations. The painting is now open for personal interpretation. For some, art is an expression of emotions where words fall short, for others, art is a colorful wall filling. In addition to free work, I also create commissioned pieces.

I was born in 1982 in Harderwijk, married and mother of three children. Since 2017, I have been living in Almelo, where I have a studio at home.

My various roles in life have contributed to my development as an artist. My role as a woman, mother, employee, friend, sister, granddaughter, but my role as a daughter has developed my intuition the most. For me, intuition is an important condition for being able to paint.

Despite all attempts to suppress the urge to paint, it turns out that blood crawls where it cannot go. Only in Almelo did I find peace and space for my passion for painting. From my studio, I could paint from my heart and try out styles. Abstract painting predominates in my collection.

I am never done trying out all the technical possibilities with acrylic paint. I keep discovering new interesting techniques that I can use to express what I feel. Where words can no longer do this, the palette knife and the paint take over.
