Who is Ditte??

I have been living in Loosdrecht since 2009 in a houseboat at the recreation park "Mijnden" and can work wonderfully in my studio there.

In my abstract and figurative works, I use mixed techniques such as acrylic, oil, andwatercolor. I also incorporate various materials such as wood, sand, glass, stone, paper, shells, and fabric for collage works.

My "painting behavior" is shaped by my intuition and how my "hat" is positioned when I step out of bed in the morning, hear the birds chirping, the sun shining, the water splashing, or the rain tapping!

EXHIBITION

Annually, I hold an exhibition that takes place in the studio and, if the weather is good, in the garden!

Over the years, I have held exhibitions at various locations (see my website) as well as at the National Art Days (2019) in Nieuwegein.

For a commission, I prefer personal contact by making an appointment where we can discuss a piece to be created in peace and space. I find it nice to get to know someone so that I know for whom the object is being made. Your commission is a challenge for me!

By the way, you are welcome every day in my studio to view my work and to see how I work and handle the materials I use. Just a phone call and we can make an appointment!!

WORKSHOPS

With enough registrations, where you can think of 4 to 6 people, we will agree on a date for a workshop. The duration is about 2.5 to 3 hours and the costs are € 45 per person; if I provide the materials (canvas and paint), the costs are € 55 per person.

The most important thing about this workshop is that the painting is created by you through color, shape, and technique, making it unique!!

COURSES

In the Course Project Loosdrecht, I teach on Tuesday afternoons with the courses "Free Painting". These courses start in January and October at the Drieluik in Loosdrecht. If you are interested, I can provide you with all the information about this.
