About the work

This painting is inspired by the former railway hall 'Werkspoorkathedraal'in Utrecht in The Netherlands. 

Werkspoor was the largest producer of railway equipment. The company had two factories, in Amsterdam and Utrecht. 

In the painting a well-known political 'world-leader' is looking at a parade of his female army corps.
