Beware of the Cat

Bert made this painting on the occasion of a visit he paid to Clémont (Cher, Sologne) in France. Bert was there from 13 to 16 September 2019 for an exhibition of his paintings during a retrospective organized by the Association de Sauvegarde du Patrimoine de Clémont. In Clémont, Bert discovered this dilapidated house (Place Albert Boyer, No. 7) that was the inspiration for the painting. The cat guards the property and the warning on the wall speaks for itself.
