'De Rotterdammers'

'De Rotterdammers' is a diptych of Rotterdam that incorporates all the images that make the city so special (the bridges, buildings, companies, people, events, sports and culture and the brands). The left diptych mainly consists of images of the 'older' Rotterdam, including the White House, the City Hall, the Laurenskerk, Van Nelle factory, the Euromast, the Kuip, Paalwoningen, Hotel New York, Willemsbrug, Willem de Kooning, Kees van Dongen and the statue of Zadkine. The right-hand part of the diptych includes the new stadium of Rotterdam, the Markthal, the Zwaan, the New Luxor and "De Rotterdam". "The SS Rotterdam is painted over the two parts with acrylic. The background of the painting is digitally printed canvas stretched on two aluminum frames of 180 x 75 cm (Edition of 10). This concerns no. 7/10. The price is € 3500.00.
