Alberto Texier is a representative of Latin American art, a versatile artist of great sensitivity, with the ability for deep observation of the world. His pictorial work – abstract, figurative, surrealist, realistic, also with copies of ancient masters, is a mirage of his personal visions and the experiences of the years he lived in various corners of the world: Venezuela, USA, Spain, France, Germany, Czechoslovakia, Cuba, again in Spain, and during the rich journey on the Verdi ship from Africa through all of South America, which ended in Valparaíso in Chile, and finally spent some moments in Mexico. Alberto Texier was fascinated by art and architecture as a child. His idol was Leonardo da Vinci. And that is why he studied his work and the secrets of the Italian genius in detail.
He also studied anatomy at the Faculty of Medicine at the Universidad Autónoma de Puebla to understand the perfection of the human body. The observation of man, nature, and the magic of the universe found their effect in his paintings full of personal symbolism and painted by the artist, among others in the ancient technique of the Mayans. Each painting implies very intensive impressions in the mind of the viewer, but also generates reflections.
