Bozena Kaluga

6 August 2026

Bozena Kaluga studied textiles and sculpture at the Strzeminski Academy of Fine Arts in Lodz before establishing herself in London over two decades ago. Her interdisciplinary practice draws on traditional techniques refined across decades, channeling them into abstract, contemporary works. Working primarily in monochrome and metallic tones, she creates textured relief pieces that feel both minimalist and deeply considered, often drawing inspiration from nature and the rhythms of daily life. Her work sits at the intersection of sculpture and textile thinking, inviting viewers into a contemplative space where high contrast and surface texture become the language for exploring feeling and time.
