I used sheet aluminum, and my techniques include collage and blind embossing. In this project, the textured metal surface represents an expression of textile art. My goal was to discover a new way of presenting textile works – in this case, the fabric becomes a trace, a memory imprinted on the aluminium. Additional textual content complements the expressiveness of the work. The purity and elegance of metal enhance the effect of each individual piece; aluminium is a very rewarding material for this type of work. Over the years, I have experimented with various materials and techniques, constantly striving to master and refine my chosen media. Abstraction offers a wide spectrum of possible interpretations of the subject, and I invite the viewer to engage freely, allowing them to personalize their perception and individual interpretation of each piece.
