I'm a sculptural artist from Rotterdam with Dutch-Indo roots. After being schooled as a traditional furniture maker I started my own business in furniture and design. Over the period of a few years my work became more sculptural and now the lines between furniture, art and design in my work are blurred. Common theme's that inspire me are my roots, the unparalleled beauty and creativity of nature and the relationship between nature and civilization. Mostly working with natural materials such as wood, gold and lava rock I make sculptures, wall sculptures, objects and sculptural furniture.
