Over Ronny Simon

Ronny Simon (1955), born in Surabaya, Indonesia, moved to the Netherlands at a young age, where he began his artistic journey. After numerous global adventures, he established himself as a talented airbrush illustrator. His skills were quickly noticed, resulting in a successful period and media attention, including mentions in the AD and the Haagsche Courant.

Despite his success as an airbrush illustrator, Ronny made a bold decision to start an advertising consultancy. Here, he specialized in advertising campaigns, with a unique focus on youth marketing, a niche that was still developing at the time. The agency grew rapidly and enjoyed years of success.

After many fruitful years in the marketing and communication world, Ronny felt the need to return to his artistic roots. He longed for the creative freedom to create images again, particularly in the rich texture of oil paint on canvas. Initially, he struggled to find his own artistic identity, having previously mainly created illustrations for clients.

Recently, Ronny has discovered his unique artistic style. He describes it as creating a new breed of beings, manifesting as bubble-like forms that attract or repel each other. His paintings range from solitary bubbles to a collection, sometimes expressing love or lust. The bubbles can evoke erotic emotions in the viewer, while somewhat resembling human figures, although Ronny emphasizes that it is an entirely new species. His most recent works bring this fascinating new artistic universe to life, where the enchanting dynamics of his bubble creatures captivate the imagination. Ronny Simon's artworks are appreciated by buyers and collectors seeking a unique and intriguing addition to their collections.
