I love the natural world of trees, birds and animals. In my art I say “God's creation-my inspiration” 

 I was born January 28th 1945 in London, UK,  as the son of a British Secret Service Agent (Mi4). 

Dad took his family (Mum, my brother Frank and me (and even our Dalmatian dog), with him on his assignments under the guise of ‘Government Lands Officer’ to Egypt, Cyprus, Mauritius, Kenya, back to UK.

 I had a birthday in 5 different countries before we arrived in Western Australia  (1954, as recorded on the WA Museum's Welcome Walls) and a few days later I celebrated my 9th birthday in Perth Zoo where we played a game of  "Lets see how many of these animals we have seen in the wild".

I began school in East Africa. Today I donate 10% from the proceeds of my art to assist in the provision of clean water and medical services to impoverished people in other areas of Africa, via Ireland Outreach International. 

When I retired in 2009 from 50 years of regular work, I said to my wife “I am going to re-invent myself as an artist and sell my paintings” To which she responded "An artist? You better learn to paint first" 

Today, as a self taught artist' I have sold over 100 paintings to private and corporate clients around the world.

My artwork has also found its way onto various publications and merchandise.

 Italy’s largest book publisher and third largest magazine publisher in France (Mondadori, have my work on the cover of a novel. 

In Australia the University of Technology Sydney (UTS) published ten of my paintings in a book on Jacaranda trees and my work has been featured on six pages in Artist’s Pallet Magazine and various other publications.
